It is with great excitement and anticipation that we invite you to participate in the first, Water Woman gathering, an all-inclusive global event on the Sunshine Coast this summer, inspired by the popular annual ‘Burning Man’ festival.
Much like Burning Man, our collective intention is to create a magical journey towards consciousness, wholeness and sustainability on the planet.

“Our mission is to inspire, empower and entertain by co-creating a sustainable community gathering, celebrating Water as Life, Unity Consciousness and the Divine Feminine. Water Woman integrates healing, learning and growth through the Arts, Spirit and Nature."

Water Woman gathering will be held at beautiful Crystal Creek on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Friday, Aug. 1st to Monday, Aug. 4th, 2008, a BC long weekend. This four day event will inspire and activate 250-500 attendees, with rates varying from daily passes at $35 to all-inclusive weekend passes, valued at $133. including camping on this pristine paradise. Most activities will be scheduled in advance comprising daily yoga and meditation, ceremonies, rituals, workshops, sweat lodges, djs, musicians, dancing, a marketplace, performance and visual arts.

From the Elphinstone Rainforests Heart Gardens comes a new template for all ages permacultured eco-education. I am happy to announce the emergence of

You will require the new version of flash to interact with this website. This is freely and easily acquirable on the web and if you do not have it already, the link will automatically appear on your browser to get it. Once you have it, the website will just open and work without you having to open any programs or files.

The main feature is the SITEMAP, an exploration of the 32 gardens and over 200 plants in this living classroom. This has been a year in the works, and now you can see pictures of the different gardens in all the four seasons experiencing the plants in their different seasonal growth patterns.

With a physical location people and classes can visit themselves, the web platform provides all ages school curriculums helping to teach about permaculture, native plants, bioregional ecology, organic gardening and sustainable development.

This is the starting point for the development of online correspondence courses which include flashed online exercises, video clips, audio streams, slideshows, activities and reading material that people can engage on their own schedule while focussing applied activities toward their own homes and landbase. The first of these is to be a Permaculture Design Certification Course.

We are seeking support grants to develop this permacultured eco-education platform into an all ages education, correspondence learning site inspired by the classes, courses and tours that take place in the Heart Gardens in downtown Roberts Creek. 7 day gathering from Monday to Sunday
7 chakra journey, each day being a new color and energy
7th moon of the year
7 years, each year will represent a chakra ending on the Crown for 2013

the gathering will include :
- workshops on conscious lifestyles, new paradigm practices, tribal community, sustainability and natural healing
- healing and wellness provided by and facilitated by healers and shamans
- ceremony directed by native American elders and spirit guides
- theater and performance including presentations by local children and youth
- daily routines and practices for wellness and balance with yoga, meditation, energy balancing, breath work, sacred sound journey?s and vegetarian meals
- each day all activities and events including music will reflect the energy or chakra of each day and the emotions associated with it
- A full moon gathering will be arranged for event volunteers and participants the 13th, 14th and 15th to bring everyone together, synchronize the program and our intentions, and act as a 3 day set up event or work party

greetings fellow synchronauts,

a wonderful and activating gathering is forming this January (2006) in Xilitla Mexico in the magical oasis and surrealist garden of Las Pozas.

all are welcome, please invite those who you may feel will become inspired by this gathering including those who wish to participate

general participation will hopefully be shard by all, and currently, we are seeking visionaries, workshop facilitators, healers, inspirational speakers (spanish skills preferred), artists of all walks, ceremonial initiators, experienced builders and trades people and those willing to work hard to create an example of a new Eden

as described in the concept outline, the gathering will run 7 days for 7 years, each day exploring and experiencing a chakra as well as each year representing a chakra, and to host the gathering on the resonant moon (being the 7th moon in the 13 moon calendar)

ultimately this first year will be the Muldahara chakra representing the root, and its been discussed with core organizers that this year will focus on exactly this concept, to form the roots, concepts, ideas, construct a viable venue, hold council for vision and future manifestations and intentions, along with grounding the project for the following 6 years leading to the end of the grand cycle in 2013

it would be lovely if we had the finances and resources to see the initial program to fruition, but these plans were very idealistic and at this point we´ve decided to keep things humble and simple and allow the event to grow organically

therefore, if you wish to attend and participate we welcome you from a grass-roots, Mycorrhiza level...please plan to attend as an equal participant and contributor

we will not be asking any specific entry fee for the first year, tho we will ask for a minimal donation towards basic expenses such as necessary supplies including food, fuel, a small and humble soundsystem and stage area, transport assistance for native elders and whatever various supplies required to make everyone´s stay comfortable, safe and enjoyable ...for example initially we were planning to ask $10 US per day towards the event including camping ...but at this point it may work out to only $5 US per day (50pesos)

we are asking in confidence that all who plan to attend this year for the first event to come with positive and creative energy with sincere intentions to contribute and participate...this first gathering will lay the foundation for the following years, the ripple from this wave of intention and creativity will be felt and experienced at the future gatherings ...please come with an open heart and clear mind

this years gathering will run January 16th to the 23rd 2006...there will be a full moon set-up gathering to prepare the space for our friends and visitors the following week ...January 16th is a Monday ...the full moon is on the Friday and Saturday and Sunday before

the gathering will focus on vision council and workshops daily, including group activities such as daily wellness practices, jungle and mountain hikes, medicine journey´s, including work sessions to create a functional and unique eco-village for the following years

eventually our efforts will help to create a miniature version of how we collectively see and invison a new Eden or Shambhala ...therefore our creativity, love and passion will be reflected thru our efforts to build this sanctuary together

there will be teepee´s set-up prior to the event and perhaps a stage for performance and music ....Kaco, the owner and guardian of Las Pozas has become very inspired by the vision and project to such an extent that he has already built and completed new washroom facilities and a sauna....plus he has offered us the camping areas to create an Eco-Village for future generations

Intention Retreat enters its 7th cycle. Begun pre-y2k as a tribal dance community response of unity in the face of the unknown future, the retreat continues to hold a space for us to reflect on where you are now and where you want to go empowered by collectivity and creativity. During this time we put our energies into one container to make manifest the world we want to live in within a temporary automous zone (T.A.Z.). Expect workshops, presentations, performances, collaborations,dance labs,innovative yoga formats,meditation space,film screenings, lots of music and massive networking! And of course expect a New Years Eve celebration that brings in 2006 without the alchohol vibe and with lots of collective fuel for setting our intentions ablaze. The first night of 2006 will again feature a Temple night set to chill music perfect for entering the year with warm heartfuls of love.

This year Intention returns to the Sunshine Coast to its familiar home at Camp Elphinstone. This is a 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay which is about a 30minute drive from Vancouver BC. With 3 years of experience with this site, the possibilities for this year are exciting to consider though anticipated to be challenging considering what we know of the expansive grounds we need to manage safely. The post-apocalyptic training skills inherant in this exercise of tribal unity are part of the draw of this event, giving participants an opportunity to learn what it takes to hold things together in all kinds of weather. Think not rave camp and think more like Jedi Training Camp. In this event the production team does the bare skeleton work but everyone in attendance makes up the functioning limbs and sinews to make the event what it will be. With a goal of encompassing multiple generations of participants from infant to elderly it is encouraged that all people coming out consider who they would most love to share this experience with and how can the most bridging of the generation divide occur. Special attention given to the young and the old to make this accessable is a forefront goal as we consider what we can learn from both of these generations.

The process begins with igniting community imagination stations which function to invision the possibilties of what can be done with the resources we have as a tribe. From here pods break into formations to prepare between now and Dec.29 allowing relationships and trust to form before we arrive at Camp Elphinstone. Outer participants from outside the 604 area code will be able to attune to the pulse of things in movement and form remote efforts either as individuals or with their hometribes attending. Updates will be posted regularly to keep people apprised of how best to prepare.

Registration

holds multi-fold purposes. Most importantly it helps the camp and everyone going to prepare adequately for the volume of attendees anticipated. Secondly it serves as an important orientation and it gives people more time to prepare themselves and increases participation in advance. Thirdly, it lessens the stress of those few who end up having to register people who show up last minute. Learning to pre-register will enable a practice that enhances the dance community at large who relies a lot on pre-registration to survive at doing the events we love.

Cost per person is going to be posted soon but roughly the same bracket as previous years (under $200) for the whole retreat which includes a healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, tea,coffee,hot choclate,cabin accomodation,access to showers,washrooms, and the New Years Eve celebration.

My citylife is lessening at the moment and i am re-merging with the coast. I am interested in opportunities to collaborate with kin and evolve the culture.

I am also interested in reframing a connection with the coastal community and am open to suggests how i can do so. I seek part-time coastal work especially before November and am also into doing garden work for food trade, and trading energy for help with webdesign.

I also hope to work more with youth, and children and am looking for more opportunities to do so coastal side.
